Brij Bhushan Joins Prime Venture Partners as Full-Time Partner

Magicpin Co-Founder Brij Bhushan has joined Prime Venture Partners as a full-time partner. Bhushan, an IIM Bangalore alumnus, will play a crucial role in investment, portfolio management, and fundraising. Prime VP also elevated Gaurav Ranjan to Principal, Investments.

Magicpin Co-Founder and former Chief Operating Officer Brij Bhushan has joined Prime Venture Partners as a full-time partner, announced the early-stage venture capital firm on Friday.

In his new role, Bhushan will be a pivotal member of the Investment team, focusing on all aspects of the firm's investment strategy, portfolio management, and fundraising efforts.

Prime Venture Partners' Managing Partner, Amit Somani, expressed confidence in Bhushan's strategic mindset and execution excellence, citing his past successes, including raising over USD 100 million for magicpin.

Bhushan's career includes stints at Nexus Venture Partners and Bain & Co. He emphasized the importance of being a true team member for early-stage startups.

Additionally, Prime VP promoted Gaurav Ranjan, an IIM Calcutta alumnus, to Principal, Investments, recognizing his contributions to evaluating over 2,000 startups and supporting early-stage ventures across various sectors.
