Tragic Incident: Rickshaw Puller Dies After Seizure

A 35-year-old rickshaw puller named Sonu died after falling into a roadside drain during a seizure in Outer Delhi's Paschim Vihar. The incident was captured on CCTV footage, which showed Sonu collapsing near his rickshaw. Despite being taken to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his condition.

A tragic incident unfolded in Outer Delhi's Paschim Vihar area when a 35-year-old rickshaw puller, identified as Sonu, died after falling into a roadside drain during a seizure. The event occurred around 8 am at the main gate of Janta flats, A-6, as Sonu was preparing to take his rickshaw.

The incident was captured on CCTV footage and shows Sonu collapsing near his vehicle and falling into the drain. Police officials reached the spot and conducted an inquiry that confirmed Sonu, a resident of Peeragarhi Camp, had a history of fits.

Authorities stated that Sonu was taken to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where he died during treatment. Family members reviewed the CCTV footage and ruled out any foul play. Police have initiated an inquest under section 194 of BNSS.
