Karnataka Minister Requests Approval for Multi Skill Development Project

Karnataka's KH Muniyappa met Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje in Delhi, urging approval for a Multi Skill Development Project in Devanahalli Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District. The project aims to employ 4 lakh individuals through skill training, with essential infrastructure provided.

Karnataka Minister KH Muniyappa convened with Union Minister of State for MSME and Labour, Shobha Karandlaje, in New Delhi on Tuesday. Muniyappa requested the approval of a 'Multi Skill Development Project' dedicated to his constituency, Devanahalli Taluk in Bengaluru Rural District.

In his letter, Muniyappa emphasized Devanahalli Taluk's substantial potential with 45,000 MSME units registered on the Udyam Portal, capable of employing approximately four lakh individuals. He highlighted the available talent pool of skilled and unskilled youth, advocating for targeted skill training to address industry needs.

Muniyappa assured that the required land and infrastructure, including roads, electricity, and water supply, would be arranged. He expressed gratitude for prompt sanctioning of the project, which he believes is pivotal for regional economic growth.
