Fires Break Out in Ghaziabad: Shops and Factory Affected

A fire broke out in four shops in Vaibhav Khand, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, and was extinguished without casualties. Another fire occurred at an oil and chemical factory near Muradnagar Canal bridge, causing significant damage.

A fire broke out in four shops in Vaibhav Khand, Indirapuram, in Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh, officials confirmed on Tuesday. Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal reported no casualties from the incident.

"We received a call about a fire at four shops in Vaibhav Khand today. Fire tenders reached the site promptly, and the fire was extinguished within 15-20 minutes. No casualties have been reported," Rahul Pal stated. The incident occurred earlier today in Ghaziabad.

On Monday, a similar incident took place at an oil and chemical factory near the Muradnagar Canal bridge on Delhi-Meerut Road. Twelve fire tenders were dispatched to the site after the Modinagar Fire Station Control Room received a midnight alert. The fire had erupted in an industrial unit occupying around 2000 square meters on plot number 87-A of Pawanpuri Industrial Area, near Yusufpur-Manota village.

Drums of edible oil and other chemicals stored in large quantities started exploding, causing the tin shed roofs and boundary walls to collapse. The fire spread to an adjacent cardboard factory on plot number 87-B, which also occupied about 2000 square meters. (ANI)
