Kundan Green Energy Expands Hydropower Capacity in Himachal Pradesh
Kundan Green Energy has launched a 10 MW hydropower project in Himachal Pradesh, increasing its total operational capacity to 85 MW. Set up at a cost of Rs 75 crore, the facility marks the company's seventh plant in the region. This initiative aligns with India's energy transition goals.

Kundan Green Energy has further expanded its hydropower capacity with the commissioning of a new 10 MW project in Himachal Pradesh. This latest venture raises the company's operational capacity in hydropower to an impressive 85 MW.
The project, executed at a cost of Rs 75 crore, was awarded by the Himachal Pradesh government in 2022, marking the company's seventh such venture in the state.
The company's overall functional capacity now stands at 120.5 MW, inclusive of solar and wind projects. In a significant move, Kundan Green Energy received approval in April to establish a 42 MW hydropower project in Uttarakhand.
