The IFC, being a vital part of the World Bank Group, stands as the largest development institution promoting private sector growth in emerging markets. According to a post on X by the finance ministry, Mr. Diop elaborated on IFC's strategic plans in India, highlighting efforts in capacity building for urban local bodies, crafting bankable projects, and enhancing municipal creditworthiness.

Additionally, they explored the potential focus on agriculture by the IFC. As the biggest client globally for IFC, India showcases its robust economy and the immense potential of its flourishing private sector.
