Sistema.bio Powers Up: $15M Boost for Global Biogas Expansion
Sistema.bio, a leader in biogas technology, secured an additional $15 million to enhance its global reach. With backing from ElectriFI, FMO, Triodos, and others, the company aims to empower one million farmers by 2025 and cut 1% of global emissions by 2030.

Sistema.bio, a frontrunner in biogas technology, announced on Monday it has secured an additional USD 15 million to drive its global expansion efforts.
The funding round was spearheaded by ElectriFI with contributions from existing partners, including FMO, Triodos, and EcoEnterprises.
Additional support, in the form of catalytic junior debt, was provided by BIX Capital and UK Charity Shell Foundation, co-funded by UK aid. Sistema.bio is focused on engaging millions of farmers to combat climate change while enhancing food security, aiming to empower one million farmers by 2025 and reduce global emissions by 1% by 2030, according to CEO Alexander Eaton.
