SC seeks Centre, EC's response on tallying of VVPAT from 10 pct to 30 pct

The Supreme Court on Monday sought a response from the Centre and the Election Commission (EC) seeking direction to the poll panel to increase the tallying of VVPAT from the current 10 per cent to 30 per cent for this year's general elections. A bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justice Sanjay Krishan Kaul issued the notice.
