An Arizonan couple adopted a 15-month-old girl from Dhanbad, India. Trader Todd Bank traveled with Central Adoption Resource Authority to finalize the adoption. His wife, a professor, couldn’t join due to pregnancy. The child was previously found abandoned and was cared for by local authorities.

An Arizona couple has brought new hope to a 15-month-old girl from Dhanbad, India, by adopting her, as confirmed by officials.

Todd Bank, a professional trader, completed the adoption in India, accompanied by his sister and Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) officials. His wife, a professor, couldn't make the trip due to her pregnancy.

The child had faced a difficult start, found abandoned in a bush along the Govindpur-Dhanbad highway earlier in 2023. Rescued in a critical condition, she was cared for at a local hospital and an adoption center, eventually finding a new family through CARA.
