The State Bank of India (SBI) Foundation, in collaboration with local health authorities and the NGO SCHOOL (Society of Community Health Oriented Operational Links), has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative aimed at bolstering health and nutritional support for tuberculosis (TB) patients in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

This strategic effort heralds a significant milestone in advancing healthcare services and elevating community wellness through two impactful measures: distributing nutritional food baskets to TB patients and deploying AI-powered handheld chest X-ray machines for swift diagnostic aid.

The initiative, celebrated at an event attended by dignitaries including SBI Foundation’s Managing Director Sanjay Prakash and Raipur's Chief Medical Officer Dr. Mithilesh Choudhary, underscores the Foundation’s ongoing dedication to enhancing healthcare access and outcomes, aligning with national objectives to eradicate tuberculosis by 2025.
