On Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh commenced a grand celebration of its 69th foundation day with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav hoisting the national flag at Bhopal's Lal Parade Ground. This four-day event coincides with the Diwali festival, marking a unique festive blend of state pride and cultural heritage.
CM Yadav attended an exhibition featuring ultra-modern tanks and weapons by the Indian Army, a highlight of the celebrations. He conveyed his best wishes to the state's people, expressing hope for continued progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Yadav underscored efforts to balance Madhya Pradesh's development with the preservation of its rich history and culture.
Emphasizing initiatives in tourism and economic growth, Yadav noted that the state is exploring all avenues of development. He praised Madhya Pradesh's global recognition as India's "food basket" and applauded its repeated success in cleanliness and agriculture awards, particularly citing Indore as the cleanest city and Bhopal as the cleanest capital in India.
