Tragedy Strikes Wedding as Bride is Shot During Celebrations

A bride named Baljinder Kaur was critically injured after being accidentally shot in the head during a wedding celebration. The incident occurred when relatives were firing in the air at the wedding. She has been hospitalized with a critical condition, and police are currently investigating.

A bride was critically injured by a stray bullet during her wedding celebrations at a marriage palace near Khai Pheme ki village, police reported.

The incident unfolded as some relatives discharged firearms into the air as part of the wedding festivities.

Identified as 23-year-old Baljinder Kaur, she was to marry Gurpreet Singh from Sarhali kalan in Tarn Taran district. Following the incident, Kaur was rushed to a private hospital where her condition remains critical. Authorities, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Sukhwinder Singh, are currently reviewing CCTV footage as part of their ongoing investigation.
