On Wednesday, Congress leaders and workers orchestrated a series of nationwide protests, which included marches to Raj Bhavans in various cities such as Jammu, Chandigarh, Guwahati, and Patna. The demonstrations aimed to spotlight Union Home Minister Amit Shah's controversial remarks regarding B.R. Ambedkar, the ongoing turmoil in Manipur, the alleged lack of action on the Adani controversy, and demands for restoring Jammu and Kashmir's statehood.

Leading the protest in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) chief Tariq Hameed Karra criticized government actions and inactions, expressing concerns, "Even after the US Department of Justice report, Adani is not being arrested... Manipur has been in turmoil for a year with no substantial action... Moreover, remarks made by the Union Home Minister against B.R. Ambedkar in Parliament are disappointing. Such comments from high-ranking officials are unacceptable." The protestors were halted near the Raj Bhavan as authorities prevented further advancement.

Similar protests unfolded in Chandigarh, where Congress leaders echoed these grievances. In Guwahati, Assam Congress workers protested outside the Raj Bhavan, whereas in Patna, Bihar Congress members followed suit as part of the party's coordinated national campaign. Congress MP Kumari Selja emphasized B.R. Ambedkar's stature, asserting, "The Constitution is the 'Granth' of the country, making Baba Saheb akin to divine. Disparaging remarks are an affront to him, the nation, and our constitutional heritage."
