Jakson Group's Landmark 50 MW Solar Rooftop Project in India

Jakson Group secured a 50 MW solar rooftop project worth Rs 200 crore from OMC Power. The project aims to offset CO2 emissions equivalent to planting 2.5 million trees, covering 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh. This is part of a partnership for sustainable development and energy independence.

Energy and infrastructure leader Jakson Group announced securing a Rs 200 crore contract for a 50 MW solar rooftop project from OMC Power on Monday. This groundbreaking initiative is expected to mitigate 62,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, mirroring the impact of planting 2.5 million trees.

Signed in the presence of Jakson Group Chairman Sameer Gupta and OMC Power CEO Rohit Chandra, the project represents one of India's largest single solar rooftop orders. Jakson will implement solar solutions across all districts in Uttar Pradesh.
