A tense standoff unfolded on Tuesday in Patna's Kankarbagh area as four criminals opened fire outside a house around 2 pm. The assailants then took refuge in a nearby residence, prompting an immediate response from the Special Task Force (STF) and Patna Police, who cordoned off the premises and demanded their surrender.

Senior police officials, including Patna's SSP, are present at the scene, meticulously overseeing the operation to apprehend the suspects. The STF is methodically sweeping the area to prevent any escape. SSP Awakash Kumar confirmed that four rounds were fired, with four individuals detained. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and all civilians inside the building are confirmed safe.

Authorities are still working to determine the motive behind the attack, which has incited chaos as residents gather nearby. Efforts to locate additional suspects, including the elusive Dharmendra, are underway as the investigation progresses. More information is expected as the operation continues.
