Bageshwar Dham Prepares for Historic Modi Visit Amid Major Arrangements

Bageshwar Dham gears up for Prime Minister Modi's visit on February 23 with extensive preparations including security, seating for up to 100,000 people, and a unique initiative of a hospital at the temple. The visit coincides with the foundation stone laying of a Cancer hospital in Madhya Pradesh.

Bageshwar Dham is undergoing a flurry of preparations as it gets ready to host Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 23. Authorities are sparing no effort, with meticulous planning in security, seating, and community services. Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri shared his excitement for what he termed a 'historic moment'. Preparations include the setup of a 3 lakh sq ft tent, parking at multiple locations, entrances for smooth flow, and seating arrangements to accommodate up to 1 lakh attendees. A 24-hour community kitchen is also in place, organized by the Bageshwar Janseva Samiti.

Dhirendra Shastri announced a unique plan to install a hospital within the temple grounds, stressing the significance as PM Modi will offer prayers at the Balaji Temple during his visit. Security measures have been heightened, with 2,500 personnel deployed and constant updates provided to the public concerning route adjustments and parking information.

In preparation for PM Modi's visit for the Cancer hospital foundation laying, SP Chhatarpur, Agam Jain outlined the security plan and coordination efforts. Residents have been informed of the specially designated parking areas and ongoing discussions for crowd management. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, keen on the developmental stride, acknowledged the preparations as a significant step, expressing optimism about the health infrastructure improvements in the region.
