Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar recently visited Prayagraj, participating in the Mahakumbh 2025 and lauding the efforts of the Yogi Adityanath government in reviving traditional customs. Arlekar, alongside his family, took a scenic boat ride at the renowned Triveni Sangam and later expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for rejuvenating the country's age-old traditions.

Speaking to the media post his boat ride, Arlekar conveyed his prayers to 'Mother Ganga' for fostering national unity and development. 'We have restored the ancient traditions of our country, and for this, I profoundly thank Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Devotees from across India have gathered for the Mahakumbh. I offer my prayers for the progression and cohesion of our nation,' Arlekar articulated.

The Mahakumbh 2025, set to conclude on February 26, witnessed the presence of Union Health Minister and BJP President JP Nadda, who also attended with his family. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted that between January 13 and February 22, 60 crore devotees performed a ritual dip at Triveni Sangam. Despite global commendations, Yogi identified attempts to defame the event by critics opposing the country's developmental progress.
