Himachal CM Joins Millions at Record-Breaking Mahakumbh

On Tuesday, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and his family arrived at Prayagraj airport for a sacred dip in the Mahakumbh, underscoring India's cultural grandeur. Sukhu expressed his joy at participating in this revered event, highlighting its global acclaim linked to India's storied culture and Hindutva.

The Mahakumbh, ongoing at the Triveni Sangam, has seen unprecedented numbers as devotees flock to the site before Mahashivratri. More than 1.30 crore pilgrims took the holy dip on Monday alone, contributing to a total participation exceeding 62 crore. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the event as a 'festival of humanity' and a tribute to India's spiritual unity.

Amid this historic turnout, authorities have mobilized an extensive sanitation initiative featuring 15,000 workers to maintain cleanliness across venues, aiming for a Guinness World Record. The results of this attempt will be revealed on February 27, marking an end to this significant cultural gathering.
