In a ceremony marked by the solemnity and pride, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh awarded 32 Indian Coast Guard personnel for their exemplary valor and service at the 18th Investiture Ceremony in New Delhi. The event at Bharat Mandapam saw the conferment of six President's Tatrakshak Medals for Distinguished Service, 11 Tatrakshak Medals for Gallantry, and 15 Tatrakshak Medals for Meritorious Service.
Rajnath Singh commended the ICG's unwavering dedication to maintaining national coastal security, noting their significant achievements in intercepting smugglers, executing international exercises, and conducting rescues.
