This anticipated drop will bring exports down to 27.35 million metric tons, compared to the previous year. Fadhil Hasan, head of the trade and promotion division at the Indonesian Palm Oil Association, shared these insights during a recent presentation.

Despite the export decrease, crude palm oil production in Indonesia is expected to reach 50 million metric tons in 2025, up from 48.16 million metric tons the prior year. The increased focus on biodiesel output is a key factor influencing these trends.
