Massive Fire Engulfs Surat Textile Store

A massive fire broke out at the Shiv Shakti Textile stores in Surat on Wednesday morning, causing significant concern among local authorities and residents.

The fire, which originated in the basement, quickly spread to the first, second, and third floors of the building. Chief Fire Officer Vasant Parekh told ANI that controlling the blaze would take time, as multiple floors had been affected. Despite the dramatic spread of the fire, Parekh confirmed that there have been no casualties.

Fifteen fire brigade teams are currently on scene, working tirelessly to douse the fire. Some firefighters who were trapped have since been successfully evacuated. Authorities are waiting on further information as containment efforts continue.
