Dilip Ghosh Strikes Back: Critique on Mamata Banerjee's Comments and More

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Dilip Ghosh issued a strong rebuttal to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's statements on the Kumbh festival and other regional issues. Ghosh criticized Banerjee's comments on the Ganga Snan, suggesting that her understanding is flawed and asserting that she could partake in the rituals.

Banerjee had previously challenged claims regarding the Maha Kumbh's occurrence, stating the historical event does not happen every 144 years as purported. In response, Ghosh conveyed skepticism about her stance on issues such as bomb discoveries in Amdanga and voter anomalies at the border.

Ghosh also lamented the poor state of Bengal's tea industry compared to Assam's thriving sector, attributing the latter's success to effective governance. He emphasized the BJP's commitment to enhancing workforce conditions and praised development efforts in the North-East, contrasting them with reported corruption in Delhi, as highlighted by the recently tabled CAG report.
