Over the past two years, India's institutional investor sector has witnessed a significant workforce expansion, growing by an impressive 69%, according to a study by CIEL HR Services released on Wednesday.
Progress in workforce diversity is notable, with women now comprising 27% of the total workforce, as revealed in the CIEL Works-Institutional Investors-Talent Trends and Insights report. The study, encompassing data from 16,000 executives across 80 companies, offers key insights into gender diversity and employment trends such as tenure and roles in demand.
CIEL HR Executive Director and Chairman K Pandiarajan remarked in a company statement that India's journey towards becoming a USD 7 trillion economy by 2030 is backed by its expanding market size and the dynamic changes within its financial realm. With a 6.1% growth rate anticipated over the next five years, the institutional investor sector is spearheading financial strategy innovation and seizing emerging opportunities both domestically and internationally.
