Chandrababu Naidu Commits to 'Swarna Andhra - Vision 2047'

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu casts vote in MLC elections, reiterates commitment to TDP manifesto amid opposition challenges. He unveils 'Swarna Andhra - Vision 2047' for state growth, emphasizing welfare schemes and economic targets, while criticizing YSRCP's stance in assembly proceedings.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu participated in the Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections on Thursday, casting his vote at polling booths 284 and 284A located in the Mandal Parishad Upper Primary School, Undavalli. Naidu's participation marked an active role in the electoral process.

Voting commenced at 8 am in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, continuing until 4 pm with results expected on March 3. Alapati Rajendra Prasad, a former minister and current MLC candidate for Guntur and Krishna districts, cast his vote at the Government Women's Polytechnic College in Gujjanagundla, Guntur.

Chandrababu Naidu, addressing the Assembly, pledged adherence to the TDP manifesto, despite facing challenges, and announced the 'Super-6 schemes' implementation schedule. Criticizing the YSRCP for demanding opposition status, he stated that the coalition aims to rebuild Andhra Pradesh under the framework 'Swarna Andhra - Vision 2047'.

The Chief Minister highlighted significant welfare measures initiated under the NDA government, noting pension increases and the revival of Anna Canteens. Naidu also emphasized financial aid for farmers and fishermen, reinforcing the government's welfare commitment.

Denouncing YSRCP's absence due to opposition status demands, Naidu recalled exemplary past Assembly decorum. He contended that opposition status is people's prerogative, aiming for economic growth with a 15% growth rate and a $42,000 per capita income by 2047.
