UDAN Yatri Cafe Expands Nationwide, Elevating Passenger Experience

The UDAN Yatri Cafe, inaugurated at Chennai Airport by Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, expands from its roots in Kolkata to global hubs, enhancing convenience with affordable refreshments. This initiative aligns with PM Modi’s vision of inclusive, accessible air travel and showcases significant infrastructure and eco-friendly endeavors at Chennai Airport.

In a significant move for air travelers, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu officially opened the UDAN Yatri Cafe at Chennai Airport on Thursday. This marks a nationwide expansion from its first launch at Kolkata Airport last December.

The UDAN Yatri Cafe, a response to growing passenger demands, will soon serve travelers at Delhi Airport, according to DIAL CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar. He announced plans during a media briefing, highlighting the cafe's role in providing affordable and hygienic refreshment options.

Strategically positioned in the T1 domestic terminal of Chennai Airport, the cafe offers budget-friendly refreshments, supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of inclusive air travel. The development comes as Chennai Airport, already the fifth busiest, continues infrastructure enhancements including solar power initiatives, ensuring improved services and a commitment to sustainability.
