Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has pledged to transition the state's industries to green energy, building on successful agricultural sector initiatives. Speaking at the Planned Annual Meet-20125, Patel emphasized the need for industries to embrace sustainable practices, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's green energy goals.

According to a statement from the Gujarat Chief Minister's Office, Patel highlighted a national shift towards ambitious development under Modi's leadership. He noted that the government's commitment to promoting green energy was evident in the last Vibrant Summit, where half of the total Memorandum of Understanding prioritized green initiatives.

Prime Minister Modi has called for India's leadership in global development, and Gujarat is poised to play a critical role. The state aims to enhance the quality of its products for global competitiveness, with the government encouraging industrial collaboration. CII Western Region Chair Swati Salgaocar noted that infrastructure projects like Gift City and Dholera SIR are drawing significant investment, marking progress towards 'Vikasit Gujarat'.
