Joint Operation Nabs Naxal Aides in Mandla Forest Encounter

A coordinated strike by police and security forces in Madhya Pradesh's Mandla district led to a clash with Naxals, resulting in one death and two arrests after a late-night encounter in Kanha National Park.

A coordinated operation involving the district police, Hawk Force, and CRPF led to an encounter with Naxals in Mandla district, Madhya Pradesh. The confrontation resulted in one fatality and the arrest of two Naxal aides, authorities confirmed on Monday.

The altercation occurred in the forests of Kanha National Park late Sunday night after security forces received tip-offs from an informer. Mandla Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajat Saklecha noted that around 20 Naxals were involved in the exchange of fire.

The team comprising district police, Hawk Force, and CRPF troops continues to carry out further investigations. Efforts to identify the deceased and additional inquiries are ongoing, with more updates expected soon.
