In a bold move towards sustainability, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced a strategic shift to green energy for the state's industrial sector. This initiative follows the state's success in promoting green energy in agriculture. Patel voiced these ambitions at the Annual Meet-20125, emphasizing the need for industries to innovate and embrace eco-friendly energy solutions.
The event also delved into 'developed Gujarat-Powering A Prosper India,' focusing on aligning state goals with national ambitions under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. Patel underscored that this strategy is pivotal for India's growth, highlighting that during the last Vibrant Summit, green energy received precedence in half of the MoUs. He stressed the importance of industry and government collaboration to ensure global competitiveness of Gujarat's industries.
The Confederation of Indian Industry Western Region (CII WR) showcased remarkable achievements with over 7,000 initiatives aimed at industrial growth and policy advocacy. Chairperson Swati Salgaocar and CII Chairman Kulin Lalbhai both remarked on Gujarat's ascension as an economic powerhouse, attributing success to proactive government measures and a cooperative industrial sector.
