Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel made a significant visit to the Jain Derasar in Sector-7 of Gandhinagar, where he sought the spiritual blessings of Jainacharya Vijay Abhaydevsurishwarji Maharaj, according to an official release on Monday. His visit included experiencing the deity's darshan at the Jinalaya and an introduction to the various religious activities of Jain Dharma, the Sangh, and its associated trust at the Upashray.
During this occasion, the trustees of the Jain Sangh honored Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel with a shawl, turban, and garland during a ceremony at Shri Vasupujya Jain Derasar and Upashray, as confirmed by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO). The event saw attendance from several notable figures, including Hemen Shah, Sanjay Jain, Tushar Shah, Hemendra Shah, Bharat Shah, Nitin Sanghvi, Chetanbhai, along with a large gathering of Jain community members.
The gathering underscored the deep-rooted connection between the state's leadership and religious communities, reflecting a harmonious interaction between governance and spirituality within Gujarat.
