The Department of Social Welfare and Social Education in Tripura has unveiled an extensive booklet outlining various welfare schemes available to the public. This initiative, launched at Pragna Bhawan Agartala, is designed to help administrative bodies communicate these benefits effectively to the populace.
Minister of Social Welfare and Social Education, Tinku Roy, emphasized the importance of spreading awareness about the booklet, which compiles beneficiary schemes from bodies like the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti. Speaking at the event, Roy highlighted the effort to bridge the gap between government programs and potential beneficiaries.
The launch event saw participation from diverse stakeholders, including officials and community representatives. Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha reinforced the state's commitment to strengthening the Panchayat system, aiming for development and improved governance in the state's local governance bodies.
