In a significant push towards enhancing local infrastructure, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 10 projects in Sujanpur valued at Rs. 43.64 crore. The development projects, spread across the Sujanpur Assembly constituency in Hamirpur district, aim to significantly improve basic amenities for residents.

One of the hallmark projects is the Rajiv Gandhi Model Day Boarding School at Karot, which will be constructed with an outlay of Rs. 20.18 crore. Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated vital water supply schemes, a science lab, and residential facilities for healthcare workers, further emphasizing the government's commitment to education and health infrastructure.

Moreover, laying the foundation for new transportation links, including the Rs. 5.45 crore Sujanpur bus stand and the Rs. 8.37 crore road from Bakkar Khud to Thalamber, highlights the focus on enhancing connectivity. Sujanpur MLA Captain Ranjeet Singh Rana expressed gratitude, noting the potential of these projects to catalyze regional growth. Meanwhile, significant investments are slated for Shimla's infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted power supply during harsh weather conditions.
