Global Technology Summit 2025: Exploring 'Sambhavna' and Tech-Driven Possibilities

New Delhi is set to host the ninth Global Technology Summit (GTS) from April 10 to 12, 2025, with public sessions scheduled for April 11 and 12. Co-hosted by Carnegie India and the Ministry of External Affairs, the summit will focus on 'Sambhavna', a Hindi term meaning 'possibilities'. The theme underlines the transformative potential of critical and emerging technologies in fostering economic growth and reshaping global governance and security frameworks. Key Indian leaders such as External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will spearhead discussions along with international dignitaries and experts.

Over 150 speakers, spanning industry, academia, and policy-making, will participate in over 25 sessions on varied topics including the geopolitics of technology, artificial intelligence, digital public infrastructure, India's technology evolution, cybersecurity, and international tech collaborations. High-impact sessions aim to create an inclusive dialogue with contributions from global experts in government, academia, and industry.

The summit will also see participation from ministers and senior government officials from multiple countries including India, USA, UK, Japan, and more, symbolizing a concerted effort to address digital age challenges. The illustrious lineup includes Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Infosys Chairman Nandan Nilekani, and other renowned figures committed to fostering a progressive framework for global technological advancement.
