On Wednesday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated a series of ambitious agricultural initiatives in the city of Bikaner, underlining the crucial economic role that farmers play in the state.

During the inauguration, Sharma reiterated the metaphor of farmers being the 'backbone' of the state, asserting that their advancement directly influences national development. He emphasized the government's efforts to support farmers through the implementation of various welfare schemes, including the availability of veterinary services for farm animals. Sharma also mentioned the distribution of cheques to farmers under state-run welfare programs, demonstrating tangible support to the agricultural community.

This event is part of a broader series of celebrations and programs marking Rajasthan Day, scheduled for March 30. As part of these festivities, a three-day farmers' fair will be organized to enhance market connections and capacity building for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), further solidifying the government's commitment to agricultural advancement.
