Assam CM Collaborates with NDA MPs to Propel Development Initiatives

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma hosted a strategic meeting with National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs from Assam, where they engaged in comprehensive discussions on key state issues at his official residence on Tuesday. The Chief Minister praised the MPs for their efforts in voicing Assam's concerns in Parliament, according to an official statement released Thursday.
The dialogue, attended by Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members including Dilip Saikia, Bhubaneswar Kalita, and others, aimed to accelerate developmental projects across the state under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. The Chief Minister sought suggestions from the MPs to enhance public welfare and took their feedback on the development roadmap.
In parallel, CM Sarma met with Union Minister of Jal Shakti, CR Paatil, in New Delhi. Their meeting was focused on strategies for the rejuvenation of Silsako Beel, a prominent wetlands project, and various initiatives under the Jal Jeevan Mission aimed at improving water management in Assam.
