As India engaged in a civil defence drill on Wednesday, aimed at evaluating national safety measures, Bageshwar Dham Sarkar Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri highlighted the importance of caution, referring to it as a form of safety. 'Caution is safety,' remarked Shastri, addressing ANI while discussing the preparedness strategies for scenarios such as war.

Simultaneously, blackout drills were executed in various states under the Ministry of Home Affairs' directive for nationwide civil defence exercises. These blackouts, organized at strategic points like Rashtrapati Bhavan and Vijay Chowk in Delhi and Raj Bhavan in Patna, sought to assess the country's emergency readiness against potential threats.

Cities including Barmer, Gwalior, Surat, Shimla, and Patna also participated in the drill. This national exercise followed the Indian Armed Forces' Operation Sindoor, targeting terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The operation was a retaliatory step in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives.

After the strikes on terror locations in Pakistan and PoK, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, alongside Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, briefed the media on the operation. Wing Commander Singh declared that 'Operation Sindoor' aimed to serve justice to the victims of the Pahalgam assault and their families.

'Operation Sindoor,' an initiative by the Indian Armed Forces, sought justice for the Pahalgam attack's victims and their families. Nine terror camps were successfully targeted, avoiding civilian infrastructure damage, articulated Wing Commander Singh. Col Qureshi displayed videos of the destroyed camps, including Muridke, connected to the notorious 2008 Mumbai attack figures.

Foreign Secretary Misri emphasized that the Pahalgam attack aimed to disrupt Jammu and Kashmir's stability. India's deepest strikes in undisputed Pakistani territory since 1971 reflect New Delhi's most pivotal military act in Pakistan in over 50 years, focusing on terror targets in Pakistan and PoJK.
