The advisory pointed to severe shortages of water, electricity, and fuel as key indicators of the worsening situation. The embassy recommended evacuation via ships to Saudi Arabia or using available international flights, for those unable to secure these, travel by land to Egypt was suggested as an alternative.
This urgent advisory underscores the critical need for immediate action to safeguard Chinese nationals in Sudan against the backdrop of deteriorating conditions.
