In a tragic incident in Gujarat's Devbhumi Dwarka district, a transmission tower collapse resulted in the death of two labourers, with two others sustaining injuries, police reported.
The workers were engaged in laying overhead wires when the structure unexpectedly fell, according to inspector Bhupendrasinh Sarvaiya from the Khambhaliya police station.
The fallen tower led to the immediate death of one labourer, while another succumbed to injuries at a nearby government hospital. The two injured individuals have been hospitalized in Jamnagar for further treatment as officials work to confirm their identities, all reportedly hailing from West Bengal.
