The Rachakonda Police force executed a highly effective cordon-and-search operation in Vinayak Nagar colony, Neredmet, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Malkajgiri Padmaja Reddy, an Indian Police Service officer. The initiative, which ran from 6 pm to 8:30 pm, saw the involvement of 140 personnel, including the Armed Reserve team, traffic police, and a canine unit led by 'Lucky.'
Throughout the operation, authorities searched approximately 600 homes, seizing 41 undocumented two-wheelers, 10 with improper number plates, and confiscating 20 liters of illicit liquor. The community's response was overwhelmingly positive, with residents expressing appreciation for the police's efforts and calling for similar operations in other parts of Vinayak Nagar.
Awareness was raised among locals about the importance of CCTV installations, the dangers of drug offenses, and the necessity to combat cyber and women-related crimes. The public strongly supported the Rachakonda Police's proactive steps towards bolstering their safety and security.
