Addressing the gathering, Sports Minister Tinku Roy urged that yoga should transcend its annual celebration, emphasizing its critical role in everyday life. "This year's Yoga Day marks an important milestone as we enter the 11th year of its observance. Nationwide, Yoga Day is unfolding at a staggering number of nearly one lakh locations, potentially setting a world record," he highlighted.

The nationwide celebration resonates in Tripura, extending to all sub-divisions and districts, with ministers and public figures galvanizing public engagement. "We aim to make yoga a daily habit for all, reflecting the vision of our Prime Minister," Roy stated. This commitment is echoed by the state government's year-round campaigns promoting yoga through schools and community centers, fostering both physical health and mental well-being.
