Northeast Frontier Railway Unveils Scenic Travel Experience with Vistadome Coaches

Northeast Frontier Railway enhances travel with Vistadome and AC 3-tier coaches to improve passenger comfort and scenic experiences in key services. Trains like New Jalpaiguri to Howrah Shatabdi and Guwahati to Jorhat Jan Shatabdi have been upgraded, ensuring a more immersive journey starting July 1.

The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is launching a significant upgrade to its passenger services, aiming to enhance comfort and travel experience by integrating a 'Vistadome coach' and an AC 3-tier coach into several trains, effective from July 1.

The New Jalpaiguri Junction to Howrah Junction Shatabdi Express, operating six days a week, will now include a 'Vistadome coach,' offering passengers enhanced views of the picturesque landscape. This addition, intended to enrich the journey, increases the train's capacity to 15 coaches and will be operational from July 1.

Similarly, the Guwahati to Jorhat Town Jan Shatabdi Express will feature a Vistadome coach, expanding its total to 16 coaches. Furthermore, the Alipurduar Junction to Silghat Town Rajya Rani Express will gain an AC 3-tier coach, bringing it to 12 coaches. These updates demonstrate NFR's dedication to improving travel quality and capacity.
