A landslide struck the Yamunotri walking route at Nau Kanchi, Uttarkashi, injuring one individual and reportedly trapping two others under debris, officials confirmed Monday.
Garhwal Divisional Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey stated the landslide has left one person injured and highlighted ongoing rescue efforts involving local authorities to save those feared trapped.
Uttarkashi District Magistrate Prashant Arya reported the injured, a Mumbai resident, is receiving treatment at Jankichatti Primary Health Center. The SDRF, NDRF, police, and administration are actively involved in the operation. More information is awaited, according to ANI.
