A Delhi Police head constable was admitted to Burari Hospital after experiencing chest pain while being apprehended for accepting a bribe at the Burari Police Station.
The Vigilance Department disclosed that the officer faced health issues post his capture for taking a sum of Rs 25,000 from a business owner, as part of a larger Rs 75,000 demand to leave a mobile tower untouched.
Police indicated that subsequent to his recovery, the head constable would face arrest. This incident is part of a broader pattern, as seen in an earlier case where a traffic cop was arrested for similar misconduct involving bribes.
