CBI Exposes 'Land for Jobs' Scam: Lalu Prasad Yadav Accused

The Central Bureau of Investigation has accused former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav of orchestrating a 'Land for Jobs' scam, where railway positions were exchanged for land. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has intensified its probe into the 'Land for Jobs' scam, implicating former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. Accusations assert that Yadav exchanged railway job appointments for land at dramatically reduced prices or received them as gifts.

Special CBI Judge Vishal Gogne is leading the examination of these charges. Special Public Prosecutor Senior Advocate DP Singh referenced the charge sheet during proceedings, emphasizing testimonies from prosecution witnesses, including a senior railway official.

The CBI further claims the systemic bypassing of candidate evaluations under undue pressure. The investigation also uncovered the alleged forgery of educational documents by candidates. In significant developments, the Delhi High Court declined Yadav's plea to pause proceedings, reinforcing the gravity of the allegations.
