On Monday, shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd experienced a notable rise, climbing over 3%, as the company reported a 31% increase in consolidated net profit for the June quarter.

The stock closed at Rs 1,004.55 on the BSE after hitting a high of Rs 1,013.65, while the NSE saw a similar upward trend.

This profit surge, reaching Rs 824 crore, was predominantly driven by growth in the company's core businesses, marking a substantial improvement from last year's Rs 629 crore. Total income also climbed to Rs 4,006 crore, fueled by significant revenue from power supply and equipment sales.
