On Monday, investment management firm Unifi Capital sold a 1.6 percent stake in Marksans Pharma, amounting to nearly Rs 168 crore, via an open market transaction.

Data from the BSE bulk deal records reveal that Chennai-based Unifi Capital Pvt Ltd offloaded 72.41 lakh shares of Marksans Pharma. The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 231.50 each, resulting in a transaction value of Rs 167.63 crore.

While the details of the purchasers remain undisclosed, Marksans Pharma, headquartered in Mumbai, saw its shares dip by 0.68 percent, closing at Rs 226.45 on the BSE.
