French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu wants €43 ‌billion ($48.61 billion) in ‌new savings in the government's budget, ⁠broadcaster ​BFM ⁠reported on Thursday.

The ⁠new savings would ​be part of ⁠a broader €54 billion savings ⁠drive ​in 2027 previously announced ⁠by Lecornu. ($1 = 0.8846 ⁠euros)
