Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami revealed a supplementary budget of Rs 5315 crore during the assembly session in Bhararisain. The budget aligns with PM Narendra Modi's vision of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas', focusing on comprehensive and inclusive development for all sectors.
Emphasizing sustainability and innovation, CM Dhami positioned the budget as a blueprint for enhancing economic strength through investments in human capital. The budget prioritizes the welfare of diverse groups including farmers, workers, women, youth, and security personnel, ensuring provisions for electricity subsidies, healthcare improvements, and housing initiatives.
Highlighting infrastructure advancements, the CM announced plans for roads, airport expansion, and tourism, while stressing on disaster mitigation to balance ecology and economy. The budget envisions Rishikesh as a yoga hub and Haridwar as a spiritual city, supporting tourism and cultural events. This initiative marks a step towards a progressive Uttarakhand.
