BJP Condemns Attack on Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Amidst Investigation

BJP leader Ram Kadam condemned the attack on Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, urging a thorough police investigation. He highlighted the need to uncover the motives and masterminds linked to the incident. The attack, considered a planned conspiracy, is under intense scrutiny by law enforcement, involving multiple agencies.

The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Ram Kadam on Wednesday strongly condemned the attack on Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, emphasizing the necessity of a comprehensive police investigation into the incident. Kadam, speaking to ANI, questioned the motive behind the attack and demanded accountability for the mastermind behind it.

Authorities have registered a case under section 109(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at the Civil Lines police station. The accused, Rajesh, has been taken into police custody. The Intelligence Bureau and the Special Cell team are thoroughly interrogating Rajesh to ascertain the motives and gather more information regarding the planned attack.

A statement from the Chief Minister's Office suggests that the attack on CM Rekha Gupta was meticulously planned. CCTV footage from Gupta's residence at Shalimar Bagh revealed that the attacker had been preparing for the assault at least 24 hours in advance, having conducted reconnaissance of the premises as part of the elaborate scheme.
