Stalin Unveils Mega Development Projects in Tamil Nadu's Ramanathapuram
Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin inaugurated development projects worth Rs. 737.88 crore in Ramanathapuram and provided welfare assistance totaling Rs. 4268 crore. In a significant boost to Tamil Nadu's infrastructure, Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated a slew of projects in Ramanathapuram, amassing a total investment of Rs. 737.88 crore. The developments include a new bus stand, initiated in 2023 and completed recently, spanning 16,909 square feet at an expense of Rs. 20 crore.
Emphasizing social welfare, Stalin distributed government assistance worth Rs. 4,268 crore to 50,752 beneficiaries. The ceremony, attended by various ministers, MPs, and MLAs, also saw the laying of the foundation stone for future projects, underlining a commitment to continual development.
Earlier, Stalin visited Chennai's enhanced Tholkappia Poonga, an Eco Park revitalized at a cost of Rs. 42.45 crore by CRRT under the state's Municipal Administration. Upgraded amenities include a modern entrance, a visitor gallery, and a children's play area, earmarking the park as a key environmental attraction.
