India Warns Pakistan: Evolution of 'Sindoor 2.0'

During a visit to the Bikaner Military Station, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi issued a stern warning to Pakistan about continued terrorism sponsorship, signaling India's readiness for Operation Sindoor 2.0. In a pointed message to Pakistan, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi emphasized that India will not exercise the same restraint as during Operation Sindoor 1.0 if Pakistan persists in supporting terrorism. As he visited frontline areas Thursday, the general urged Pakistan to halt state-sponsored terrorism if it wishes to maintain its geographical integrity.

Speaking at the Bikaner Military Station, General Dwivedi reviewed the troops' operational readiness for a potential Operation Sindoor 2.0. Confident in the preparedness, he reiterated the Army's commitment to national security, linking past operations with ongoing efforts to enhance military capability and responsiveness.

The original Operation Sindoor began on May 7 in retaliation for an attack in Pahalgam, involving precision strikes on Pakistani infrastructure. Supporting this narrative, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh reported substantial damage inflicted on Pakistani air capabilities, underlining India's robust defense posture and advanced military systems.
